IoM Drawing Club @ The Alpine

IoM Drawing Club @ The Alpine

Tuesday, 1 May, 7-9pm • The Alpine, 5 Regent Street, Douglas

The Isle of Man Drawing Club (supported by the Isle of Man Arts Council) is a social event series for friendly artists, where art-lovers can drink, draw, and chat in a no-pressure environment (the gin helps!).

We've been saying it for months, but we finally have a second venue in the mix!! Alongside our usual life drawing sessions on a Thursday at Noa Bakehouse, there will now be a SECOND monthly session on a Tuesday at The Alpine!! These new sessions will be a chance to dive deeper into your drawing (and drinking) practice, with two drawing zones and two opposite sex models(!) cycling between the groups. Bring your own favourite art supplies and paper, and your host Kim Gee Studio will lead the group through different timed poses and social breaks. At the end of the night we'll show off our favourite creations to our fellow club members, celebrating each other's unique styles and talents.

There are only 40 tickets available for this event at £10 each, which includes your first drink free! Tickets WILL sell out as they always do (it only took 6 hours last time), so make sure to get yours quickly. All are welcome regardless of ability level, as long as you can enjoy a chat and love to draw. RSVP now, and invite an artsy friend!!

*Note: 40 ticket limit does not apply to past life drawing models or the month's colouring page artist. Interested in contributing? Email with a black and white sketch!
